What do MS parents think?

Dear Maria and Stuart, and all Middle School Teachers,

We just have to write to say how impressed we are with middle school at JDS.  Blown away.  So pleased, we can barely contain our joy.  

The sensitivity to the children's emotional lives is a gift.
The academics are challenging.
The teachers engaging, concerned, and responsive.
The programming... the police officer discussing the downs of facebook.. a brilliant idea.   The curriculum on bullying.  The overnight to bond the group.  The amazing video of the overnight.

Amazing.  Just amazing.  Gabes is growing by leaps and bounds with the new challenges he confronts daily and he is just getting used to it, feeling his oats, beginning to get comfortable. He knows he is somewhere special. He feels it in his heart, soul, and bones. And so do we.
